-qdebug=diagnostic will be available when we get our compiler update (isn't

I read somewhere that use of this flag in combination with -qarch=440d and
-O4 or -O3 -qhot=simd, was supposed to give messages about alignment
problems, etc. which could affect performance. However, when I do this I
get no messages other than the warnings and such that I normally get. What
am I doing wrong?
