we've been given the option of using the new scheduler.  can we
still manually submit mpiruns?  if so, what are the new partitions
called?

is there a 'cwd' or equivalent?

is there progress on the universal wrapper mentioned by bill in the
wiki?

inquiring minds want to continue running experiments.
