[bgl-discuss] lots of good runs

In the last 4 days or so I have made several dozen runs on BGL using
qsub.  Most were quite long, up to 40 hours but some were short.  At
least one was properly killed after it ran out of time.  I don't think
anything went wrong as far as RM is concerned and I got lots of work
done.

I look forward to the direct writing of stdout & stderr to my file system!

We really need to be able to retrieve command-line arguments into
fortran programs.  Now that I am in a production mode, having all
programs read a file named "input" is very dangerous.  This did work
briefly in February.  I hope the new compiler (April Fool) will fix it
again.
