RE: [bgl-discuss] MPI traces



I managed to generate the MPI trace file (events.trc, 1.6 MB for a 128
processor run) but cannot find the traceview utility as described in
/soft/tools/mpitrace/README.mpi_trace. I am also trying to use TAU as
Sameer described in his email.

Do you mean a more elaborate one?  We do have hpm lib installed (/ 
soft/tools).  There are pretty good examples in there, if I recall.   
That said, if it works with your code, please report back.  We have  
had plenty of trouble with apps crashing after being linked in with  
these libraries.
