Re: [bgl-discuss] mpe logging - out of space
Wow, /tmp never gets cleaned up I guess. I see junk of my own
back to February:
-rw-rw-rw- 1 spieper root 158195 2005-03-26 15:47 tmp2cpciI
-rw-rw-rw- 1 spieper root 715329 2005-03-25 21:31 tmp3-3jsy
-rw-rw-rw- 1 spieper root 19323 2005-03-26 12:38 tmp3D1m2z
-rw-rw-rw- 1 spieper root 55073 2005-02-28 13:50 tmp3PWTpK
-rw-rw-rw- 1 spieper root 34983 2005-03-24 15:49 tmp5NDZ8y
.... lots and lots
and similar files for others , the total is 1 Gbyte.
I removed my stuff and freed up 550 Mbytes. I have no idea what
the stuff is from.
Seems to me a cron job deleting stuff more than a few days old
would be reasonable.
Anyway the situation now is
[login1 tmp] df /tmp
Filesystem 1M-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda6 2016 512 1402 27% /tmp
